Joy Tharpís culinary career started in Minneapolis, MN in 1978 with Saga and Best Food Services, where she had the opportunity to apprentice under a German chef for 4 years. Over the past 32 years in the food industry her past accomplishments included providing food services for Republic Airlines, Super Value Grocery Store headquarters and General Mills headquarters. Her experience at the St. Paul State Capital
includes serving the Governor, Senate, Representatives and Supreme Court officials. After many years in the institutional part of the food service Joy moved from corporate/government to the private sector and
launched Skeyes The Limit Catering. Her customer base includes Pillsbury Family, Government Officials and many distinguished personalities.
In 1992 Michelle Pecukonis joined the fun and began her apprenticeship with Chef Joy. They continued to build their business in the metropolitan area. Michelle is a Sandpoint native. It felt natural to return back home. So, in 2004, they brought their fabulous
culinary skills and stellar customer
service back to Sandpoint and the
Greater Inland Northwest.
